But maybe it’s much simpler: Stefano seems to only use outdated cameras, and developing photos taken with them takes quite some time (there are even timer clocks in chapter 2), so maybe he just associates working on his photos with pendulums or pendulum clocks. Every day could be his last, so he might try to create as much art as he can before he dies. In the real world, he barely escaped death, so time might be very important to him. Maybe they hint at Stefano’s powers, but maybe there’s more behind it. You can also see three corpses hanging from the top of the theater, resembling a pendulum (I’ll add photos of both of them later). If I remember correctly, there is a pendulum in chapter 2. The blood could be from the Mobius member he killed in the City Hall, but then there’s the question why his suit is clean in the cutscene before the Obscura fight… maybe he always has a reserve suit ready for when he’s finished with his “work” xD. I also noticed that he has his jacket unbuttoned, so maybe they used his boss fight model for this scene. Great video! The jumpscare at 0:20 caught me by surprise because I never got it while playing the game (maybe it’s because I didn’t wait long enough).Īlso, this is the first time I noticed the blood on Stefano’s suit when he takes pictures of Sebastian (at 1:36). I recorded some scenes in first person mode and/or from different angles for a better viewing experience. I decided to record every cutscene and encounter with Stefano, since But I still recorded it, cause I think it’s important. So I guess, that he is/was doing some other stuff while pranking and trolling Sebastian.ĥ.) I know the last scene isn’t from Chapter 5, but Chapter 6 and it’s really just a very indirect encounter with Stefano. He doesn’t appear like this anymore when confronting Sebastian. His suit is also already bloody when he teleports past the Obscura camera. It’s a little bit hard to see, cause Stefano seems to darken the light behind him, if you try to take a closer look at him. It’s very faint, you have to listen very closely and he also doesn’t seem to do this every time.Ĥ.) If you look closely at Stefano taking photos, you can see that his suit is untidy and covered in blood stains. I believe that’s a hint of Stefano’s time freezing powers and therefore also a hint, that he just teleported past Sebastian.ģ.) Right before you see Stefano standing in the corridor, where he takes photos of Sebastian, you can hear him chuckle and walk away. If you check the clock near the lamp Sebastian also says that “It’s ticking, but the pendulum’s stopped…”. You don’t see him, but I believe that’s supposed to be him teleporting really fast past Sebastian. The sound effect while this happens is the same one, as when Stefano flashes past the Obscura camera. He doesn’t always appear in this.Ģ.) In the ‘Appreciate The Art’ corridor, the lamp and one of the pictures are moving, or appear to be kind of distorted. So I recommend to use headphones for this video.ġ.) You kind of need to trigger Stefano so that he shows up while you look through the Obscura camera. There are some scenes where you’re only able to hear him, but not see. Perk up your ears for this one, cause in this chapter, Stefano is more like a ghost than anything. The Evil Within 2 - All Stefano Valentini Cutscenes and Encounters
